It's the end of November, exams are there in two weeks and we're just wrapping up this semester. I can't believe how quickly this went, have struggled a lot with assignments and been wondering a lot of times why the f*ck I ever started with this. But here we are, ready to write some exam papers and ready to get rocking into semester two.
If you have been wondering which modules I had this semester, let me sum them up for you.
# People, Protest and Power — basically the Industrial Revolution, Reformation, Chartism, Peterloo etc. Modern Britain.
# What is History — mandatory module about learning how to deal with history papers etc, VERY confusing at times
# Scottish History: 1066 - 1603 — my absolute favourite, as you know I've been obsessed with the Stuarts and Scottish castles etc.
So next semester, things are changing, I'm getting new lecturers, probably even new people in the class, but more exciting times as these classes are really close to my heart. I even have one archaeology class, not because I study it, but because I'm highly interested in it.
So next semester we have
# Historic Landscapes
# Scottish History: 1603 - 20th Century
# The Middle Age? Europe, c.1100 - c.1500
I'm excited to start these three classes.
But first just writing a secondary source portfolio and doing the exams.
And then Christmas break.
I hope to be able to do some more history hunting in the upcoming weeks... cause i miss making photos.
