Happy two months.

Saturday, October 10, 2020 Dundee, UK

It's been just over two months that I got here in Scotland, even if that wasn't the entire plan I am glad it happened the way it did. For both of us it went from "Oh, just a week and see you in two weeks" to "Yea .. hi, I'm staying", the reason was simple; Easyjet couldn't guarantee my flight back so I rescheduled and then it got cancelled, which then made me decide that as long as it's safe to travel without any self-isolation or forced quarantine I ain't flying back to the Netherlands. Yes, it's weird to not say a proper goodbye to my parents, but luckily there is something as a phone and Facetime even.

So, how has these two months been? I'd say not bad, done things, seen things, we haven't killed each other (not that we will, lol), met new people, made new friends and made some cakes and cookies. The first month of uni is done and I'm having a week of holiday, even though that basically means me writing my essays to have them submitted in time. I am going to take today a day of rest from staring at screens and diving into books as it felt like I got a migraine last night.

honestly most of my insta stories are like this

Dundee feels like home already and I can't wait to have enough self confidence to drive in the UK (seriously need to start trying) and go out to explorer the rest of the country.

Here some photos from instagram (you can follow me here; @royalxredhead), most are being shared, but here they are again. it's getting autumn here, so I can't wait to start making photos with all the leaves.
